![]() Kalindra Stable
![]() Picture this, you walk a few metres away from the shops, there is a driveway leading up to a barn, with white fenced paddocks occupied by beautiful horses of every shape, size, breed and colour. You walk up to the stable and see that it is not just one barn but a network of barns. One for stallions, mares, colts, fillies, geldings and brood mares. There is also a little barn away from the others which has Quarantined horses in it. When horses arrive they are put in quarantine for one week. There is a wash down area to the right with an office right beside it. A tall, blond woman walks out and welcomes you to her stable. She shows you around all of the facilities which include a 1 mile training track, Indoor arena, Outdoor arena, Cross Country course, Show jumping ring (complete with jumps) and yearling ring with high fences. Inside the stables there are 25 stalls in each but only 15 in the brood mare barn and 10 in the quaratine barn. There is a tack shed in each stable, even in the brood mares. At first the tack sheds look very disorded and messy. But you learn everything has a place in a carefully ordered system. There is one whole wall free of saddles and bridles ready for new boarders.
